Prior to joining Altamar in 2016, he worked for 12 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Director of Corporate and Investment Banking, in charge of covering infrastructure, services, consumer and retail, media, real estate and private equity clients. Jaime worked previously at Mercer Management Consulting (currently Oliver Wyman). Jaime holds a degree in Law and a degree in Business Administration from ICADE and completed Wharton’s Investment Banking Institute Program. He has designed, originated and executed a great variety of transactions, among which the following are to be highlighted:

  • The sale of Tecnopol Sistemas to Mapei SPA, the sale of Ruta del Canal by ACS to Penta, the sale of Endesa’s Latin American operations to Enel, Flightcare (FCC) to Swissport (PAI Partners), Grupo Guascor to Dresser-Rand, Palacios Alimentación to ProA Capital, WDFG to Autogrill and SCYMA (U. Fenosa) to Applus
  • The acquisition of Palacios Alimentación by MCH, Moyca by ProA Capital, Panrico by Bimbo, Campofrío by Sigma Alimentos, Continental Auto by Alsa (NX), the investment by Hamad Al Thani in El Corte Inglés, and the Adwen JV between Gamesa and Areva, amongst others
  • The creation of Healthcare Activos Yield. The joint venture for the offshore wind business “Adwen” between Gamesa and Areva. The Ferrovial tender for I-285/SR400 interstate highway in Atlanta, Georgia, and the investment of the investor Hamad Al Thani in El Corte Inglés for €1,000m
  • Initial public offerings of Telepizza Group, World Duty Free and Galp Energia, capital increases of Gamesa and National Express, and block trade of EADS shares by SEPI
  • Bank financing transactions with Colonial, Ferrovial, and Telepizza, and several bond issuances by Red Eléctrica, Ferrovial and Isolux, amongst others
  • Throughout his career, Jaime has also advised many multinational corporates in their transactions in the Iberian market
