Emilio is acting as Senior Advisor at Altamar Advisory Partners. He started his professional trajectory in 1980 at the Chase Manhattan Bank (Madrid and London). In 1985, he led the Investment Banking Division of the Santander bank of business and participated in the establishment and development of Banco Santander de Negocios, the first local merchant bank in Spain. In 1989, he was appointed head of the division for large corporates at Grupo Santander and was appointed Deputy Managing Director. In 1990, Emilio worked for Goldman Sachs in London and in 1995 he came back to Santander Investment as General Manager and Managing Director of the Investment Banking area worldwide. From 1998 to 2006, he served as Chairman of JPMorgan in Spain and Portugal. From 2006 to 2008, Emilio Saracho served as the Chief Executive Officer of JPMorgan Private Bank for EMEA. From 2009 to 2012 he served as Co-Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at JP Morgan for EMEA. From 2012 to 2015 Emilio Saracho was Deputy CEO of JP Morgan for EMEA and Chairman of the Management Committee for EMEA. From 2015 to 2016 he was designed as Vice President and Member of the Executive Committee of Corporate and Investment Banking at JPMorgan. In 2017 Emilio acted as Chairman of Banco Popular Español. He also served as Second Vice Chairman of Grupo Corporativo ONO, until February 24, 2010 and has been Non-Executive Independent Director of Industria de Diseño Textil, since June 8, 2010, Non-Executive Director of International Airlines Group, since June 16, 2016, Member of Advisory Board of Indra Sistemas, Director of Cintra since 2008 and advisor of several international companies.

Emilio holds Degree in Economic Sciences by the Complutense University of Madrid, Degree Postgraduate by Politécnica University of Madrid, diplomat in banking and financial Systems by the Instituto de Empresa of Madrid and MBA by University of los Angeles.
